The Next Chapter…
It is with both sadness and excitement that I share this news with you. After 8 and a half years, I have made the difficult decision to close sarbe’s shop-front to concentrate on my new business ventures, Alex Mae and choki choki. I feel sadness as the sarbe store has been my life for the past 8 and a half years and I love the wonderful community that sarbe has created and brought together. At the same time I am excited by the new paths and opportunities that lay before me with Alex Mae and choki choki that will only be possible by reallocating my time and energy from sarbe.
Those who know me well will have witnessed that I often have more than one ball in the air with many projects on the go at once. However there comes a time when no amount of feverish juggling can keep all of the balls alive and one must give way for the others to keep moving, and this is where I find myself. As each business grows it has become harder to manage all three businesses and unfortunately I have to say goodbye to sarbe’s retail store to make things manageable.
As my heading alludes, I see this as the beginning of a new chapter and certainly not the end of everything sarbe. We will continue to sell online at sarbe.com.au and inspire with DIY projects and crafts, and we hope that you will continue to follow and share your creative experiences with us.
An enormous heartfelt thank you to customers, staff, suppliers, colleagues, and friends of sarbe. The concept of sarbe and its creative adventures has grown with your love and support. It has been an amazing and unforgettable journey getting to know you all and a privilege to join in your special events and everyday crafting through your visits to our store.
I would also like to sincerely thank my personal family and friends who have been a tremendous support from day one and were always keen to lend a hand when I needed help.
We have a few special projects and events lined up for the next two months which will commemorate and celebrate the sarbe store and give you the chance to say farewell with some awesome crafting! We hope that you can join us!
